Virginia Ulrich is a Senior Manager at Ecova, a company that provides energy and sustainability solutions to utilities, as well as commercial and industrial end-use customers. She manages a large team responsible for implementation of utility programs in the West coast region. She managed one of the first strategic energy management (SEM) programs in the country. Virginia currently oversees the implementation of SEM at dozens of commercial and industrial facilities. Virginia understands the barriers a facility can face and the successes a facility can have as they attempt to implement SEM, especially the important role of employee engagement.
