November 14, 2011 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Deep Savings in Existing Buildings: Using Case Studies in Our Search for Success
NW Natural, 220 NW 2nd Avenue 4th Floor Hospitality Room. November 14, 6:00PM.
with Mark Lyles, NBI

On behalf of NEEA’s Betterbricks program, NBI has investigated the retrofit market, through their regional Existing Building Renewal (EBR) initiative. Building on the measured energy performance associated with this work, including case studies and research, this presentation focuses on the characteristics and performance data of actual buildings needed to help owners and other interested parties understand the value of retrofits. In addition, the case studies and research help identify barriers to, and ongoing needs for, implementing deep savings in existing buildings.
This work is part of the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) regional Existing Building Renewal (EBR) initiative to accelerate commercial market adoption of deep, integrated energy-efficient retrofits.

Mr. Lyles hasa BA in Architectural Studies from Hobart College and in 2008 earned his Master of Architecture degree, with a focus on Sustainability, from Cal Poly Pomona.
