Certified Energy Manager training in Portland, Oregon, October 21-25, 2013
The AEE CRC Chapter is pleased to offer a comprehensive five-day training program for Energy Managers in Portland, Oregon. This five day seminar will cover all material needed to prepare for the Certified Energy Manager exam and provides an in-depth, comprehensive learning and problem-solving forum for those who want a broader understanding of the latest energy cost reduction strategies. Beginning with an examination of the fundamentals within all key areas of energy management, students will then learn, system by system, how to diagnose and analyze energy savings opportunities.
Registration includes:
- Instruction, class materials, and exam fee (exam will be administered on the last day of the course).
- Breakfast and Lunch.
- AEE CRC Chapter annual membership is included in your registration fee, however a separate AEE national membership is required at a cost of $185. AEE membership is not required to take the CEM training and exam, but is beneficial to maintain registration once achieved.
Schedule:
October 21-25, 2013
8am to 5pm
Registration fee:
$1,750 before September 15
$1,950 after September 15
Anyone may take the CEM Training Course.
An application, EMIT or CEM, is required to take the exam. Both of these applications are specific to “in-house” trainings with exam. It is preferred that this be completed before the exam. If not completed before the exam, it slows the certification process down. Also, there is an off chance that the applicant may not be qualified to take the exam (no degree or experience). If anyone is uncertain if they qualify, they may contact Helen Johnson, AEE here.
There is no additional fee for the CEM or EMIT Application.
CEM certification does not require AEE membership, but it’s recommended because it gives certified professionals 1 credit per year towards recertification.
Candidates should pay the Chapter all the fees for the seminar and application/exam. Candidates do not have to pay AEE National an additional fees for the seminar, application, or exam.
